About me
My friends used to call me the Explorer — not because I went to many places, but because I was always trying new things. I liked testing things, asking many questions, and that same curiosity led me to discover open source, where I get to learn, build, and help others every day.
During the Outreachy 2025 contribution phase, I went from being an open-source hopeful to pushing real commits, shaping community docs, organizing regional events, and rewriting the narrative of what contributors from marginalized backgrounds can do.
This portfolio captures my journey — the wins, the lessons, and the spark of collaboration that made it all possible.
Some key highlights of my contributions

Turkana — where it all started. Born and raised in Kenya, I had limited resources but limitless curiosity.
